“ Does Cafe Aroma have the best Banh Mi in Manteca? I would have to say yes. This small family business serves some of the best sandwiches in the area. The service here is also so friendly and welcoming. I can see why this spot is so popular. It gives a cozy and homey feel. They also hang their kid's drawings on the wall which is really adorable also. When it comes to the food, it comes out quick and the quality as well as the quantity is top tier. I ordered the House Combo Banh Mi ($8) and Medium Iced Chai Tea Latte ($4.50). For the Banh Mi, they use really good bread and is crispy on the outside with each bite while being soft and fluffy inside. I loved it and they were super generous with the filling especially the veggies. There was plenty of pickled carrots and radish with cilantro and Jalapeños. The Chai Tea Latte being called Chai tea is funny because it reminds me of Pavitr Prabhakar from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse being triggered because it's like saying tea tea! Anyways, this was a solid chai latte. It was a little too sweet for my liking, but the staff is friendly and offers to make any adjustments if needed. You mainly come here for the sandwiches which is their specialty and I have to try more of their options especially the breakfast sandwiches which I hear good things about. This will definitely continue to be one of my go-to cafes in the Central Valley. ”

“ My boyfriend and I wanted to try their vermicelli noodle bowls and bahn mi sandwiches. The bread for the bahn mi was really good, I thought it elevated it beyond a typical bahn mi sandwich. The vermicelli noodles were good. The sauce was just a bit sweeter than I expected, which I liked. The meat in mine wasn't particularly hot (my boyfriend's was hot as if it had been cooked fresh), but it was still very refreshing overall! Super inviting atmosphere and we were glad we tried it out! Would love to go back someday. ”

“ We found a wonderful hidden gem here in Manteca. While driving through and needing a place to kill some time and have lunch, I looked up the highest rated lunch spots in town and Café Aroma was top on the Yelp list. It was a few miles out of the way off the freeway but well worth it. They have a ton of choices of sandwiches and salads as well as Vietnamese Vermicelli Bowls. They also have all the drinks coffee, tea and even boba drinks. I chose the tri tip mánh mì sandwich and hubby had the Thanksgiving Day sandwich both came out hot and delicious. I also ordered a black milk tea with boba at 25% sweet and it was perfect. I can never turn down a boba tea! Come check them out they really know their stuff. They have some inside and outside eating space and we were lucky to get a table inside so we stayed and enjoyed ourselves. We even had left overs for later the sandwiches were nice and big. ”

“ Great Place! authentic Banh Mi with great bread quality, deliciously prepared traditional sandwiches, the pearl drinks are tasty and quality flavor. They have plenty of choices and can build a sandwich to your expectations, they also have cool art on the wall they sell that is created by family. Overall, this cafe has everything you want, quality, great service and genuine passion to serve great food. I intend to return here anytime I need my sandwich fix! ”

“ This is as very small coffee shop. They serve sandwiches and bagels too! I ordered a black coffee and it was very strong and delicious, and I was surprised and delighted by the smoothness of the flavor. Although the gentleman who served us was very flat and seemingly uninterested in his role at the coffee shop, the other CUSTOMERS were very, very friendly, which I was pleasantly taken aback by. They greeted us with hello's when we walked up to the door (they were all seated outside) and then they said goodbye when we left. They were a small diverse group who may have all known each other, but either way, the exchange was warm and friendly. They have some art on the walls, which is kinda cool to see...that they support local artists. ”

“ My wife and I visited Cafe Aroma in July 2024. She had never been before, and I had visited 3-4 times prior to this experience. I understand they are now under new ownership. It's a quaint little place that a little difficult to find if you don't already know where it is. That being said, it's decorated with some art and very cute inside. It was a very hot day and it was noticeably a bit hot inside. Air conditioning would have been nice, but they did have fans on at least. Now on to the food. I ordered Pete's Panini. It comes with Ham, Pete's sauce, jalapeño, onion, bacon, and pepper jack cheese. It was very good and filling. Also came with a choice of side between mac salad, potato salad and a couple others. I let my wife choose and she chose the potato salad. She mentioned it was really good. For her meal, she ordered the tuna salad sandwich. It had fresh tomato slices, lettuce, and dill in the tuna and she mentioned it was very good! All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Cafe Aroma is a wonderful spot in Manteca and you should try it soon. Also, they have some of the best Bahn Mi sandwiches in town! ”

“ What a great spot! I'm always looking for a good sandwich spot and seems I've found it! They have so many great choices of different types of sandwiches (including banh mi) as well as a great drink menu! I stopped by for lunch and while the place was busy, I was able to walk right up and order without a line. They were very courteous and welcoming. I placed my order and it was delivered to my table within 5 minutes. Here's what I tried this time: Chinese BBQ pork Banh Mi Iced Matcha Latte The bread was perfectly toasted, crispy and soft at the same time. The sandwich had the perfect amount of goodies inside and the flavors were delish! They have seating both indoor and outdoor however many tables were only for 2 people with a few that have 3-4 possible. Parking was easy as they are in a shopping center. This was a great family owned spot that I'll definitely be stopping back by to try more of their specialties! ”
